anyone convert the injen CAI to short ram?
hey guys, i want to change my xA's injen CAI to a short ram (you can do this), but i lost my instruction manual that came with my intake. has anyone done this? if so could you please guide me as to what id have to do? they say its really easy, but i dont want to mess up trying to do it myself without any assistance. thanks!
wow, i was looking forward to a response to my question.... haha why bother posting something so dumb? anyway if someone can provide me an answer to my question and not a stupid comment like nnnick, please let me know.

Very easy, I have the same setup. You unscrew everything and take it all back out. Then you just put the filter on the first part that hooks up to the throttle body, then you put that piece on. I don't know what else to tell ya.
i was planning on just taking the 2nd long piece out, since its the 2 piece intake. u said take it all out, but can i just take the 2nd half out? and then take the filter off and put it on the first attachment. also in order to do this id have to take the headlight out right? thanks for your response
Im just wondering.... why would you want to do that?!?!?!? I have the CAI intake and ive seen the short ram and all you have to do is take off the second peice that extends down into the bumper and attach the filter onto the open part of whats left over.
why? because somehow water got into my system the other day and messed up my MAF sensor. the sensor went bad, i tried cleaning it but i had to get another sensor. so to avoid that problem, i want to convert the CAI to short ram to make all chances of water getting into the system go away, since this was a big headache

I know on mine, I have to take the whole system out, b/c I can't get the bottom piece or the filter out if I don't. If you can, that's all you have to do.
