Default Toyota ist HID edition

Available on the NCP60 and 4WDNCP65 though. Not sure if the stuff applies to the NCP61.

HID

A very bright idea indeed. Now it just needs a locking mechanism.

I see magazine pockets :D

All I know is the HID head light bulb from a Prius costs $300. That alone might scare me away from having any kind of oem HID kit. I know you can get aftermarket kits for about $400.

I asked the Scion Dealer about the HID option for my xA.. omg I just about fainted when he said it was like $600-700! Then he went on to say it was like 1/2 of what they usually cost.. around $1200.00...

OMG.. suddenly I really loved my stock headlamps. They do look nice just not for that kind of pricetag. I'd rather spend the money on performance upgrades.. yeech.

They sell HID kits for $450, H4 is what the xA takes I believe. Not a bad price. Sometimes they have sales and the stuff is a lot cheaper, like under $400. All Phillips which is a respectable brand.
