Scion tC showcases show car-winning aero and lighting upgrades.

Last week, we featured our first-ever Lexus, which was actually kind of a Toyota, on our Instagram of the Week feature. This week, we are back to showing love for Scion. This is Instagram user unicorn_tc and their Scion tC show car build.

Featuring the OEM aero add-on kit, this 2013 Scion tC Release Series 8.0 takes the “wings and things” mantra to the next level. A front splitter, extended side skirts and a chassis-mounted rear wing add some visual menace to the humble hatchback.

From there, this tC has been lowered with a set of BC Racing coil-overs. The fenders have been rolled and pulled to help fit the massive wheels under the stock fenders. Those rollers are Cosmis Racing MRII wheels in white powdercoat. The specs are an aggressive-for-stock-body 18×9.5″ +15.

The unicorn_tc may look ready for the local track day, but it’s owner instead prefers the show scene. There are Instagram posts showing the car attending prominent events such as Wekfest. There are also pictures of models posting up with this Scion, if that’s your thing. Additionally, this tC owner seems to roll with a group of Chicago-area locals, as certain groups of cars make return appearances on their page.
