Talk about a slammed Scion. People always freak out when they see cars this low. “You’ve ruined the suspension geometry!” they cry. “How can you drive over bumps!?” they wonder. Their concern is understandable. Low cars require a different mindset from their drivers. For the average person, the sacrifices in ride quality and handling performance are not worth the look. Jasper, the owner of this TC, sees it a little bit differently. The car is not going to be fast… So why not op for form over function?
He goes into more detail about the car in the article, but I’d say his suspension setup speaks for itself. The wheels are Rotiform 3SDM 0.05s, and are impossible to miss. It’s a decidedly old school look on new car. He’s got 18×9.5 with 35 offset all around, but the fronts have a shorter sidewall than the rears. Both have slight pull, which makes tucking fenders like this a little bit easier.
