SEMA 2012: Daniel Song's Scion FR-S Tuner Challenge Car
This is the most evil looking FR-S I’ve seen. Sure, the wing looks like it could also be used as a hang glider, and the performance hasn’t been tested. But visually, this baby looks like it wants to eat your lunch. Of course making a race car—especailly when there’s no time to deliver, say, a lap time at Laguna Seca—is a risky move in the tuner challenge.

For one, there’s no audio system, so the judges will certainly be going over every milimeter of this car looking for flaws. And with minimalist race builds there’s no place to hide. Hopefully we’ll see the FR-S GT on the track at some point…

Make sure to check out the competition—John Toca’s “Carbon Stealth FR-S,” and Chris Basselgia’s “Minty FReSh”—and then vote in our poll! Think ScionLife will be able to guess the winner?

The FR-S is going to be all over the place this year, and we’ll be posting tons of photos from the floor starting Tuesday. Stay tuned for updates about everything happening with Scion at SEMA 2012!
