New Hotness: Rocket Bunny FR-S

By -

The FR-S has been out for nearly six-months, and there’s already a wide-body kit out for it. That has to be some kind of record.

There’s a good chance that you’ve seen this kit already, as it’s easily the most aggressive kit for the FR-S out right now. Flared rear fenders. External bolts. Distinctive side skirts  In a way… It’s a little bit like the Scion version of a Rauh Welt Begriff Porsche. I’m not saying they’re the same, but they seem like they have a similar ethos. There’s definitely a race-car for the road feel that run through Rocket Bunny’s designs. Thankfully, their kits kick ass.

The kit is by Kei Miura of TRA kyoto in Japan and techincally, it’s not finished yet. It’s still missing the font grill, for instance, but the most important bits are in place. Also, while it looks similar to a RWB style machine, the end result probably won’t be as exclusive as theirs. Miura designs his kits in CAD and has the molds built out of polystyrene for mass production.

Eventually, you’ll be able to pick the kit up through GReddy. It’s listed on their site now, but they don’t have a price for it. No matter. We’re sure what ever price it is, it’ll sell like gangbusters. More photos of the kit below.
