Agent 99 (Retirement)
By the time I got everything installed, it was too dark to get good pictures of the daytime running lights, so they'll have to wait until tomorrow. For now, we'll go with stickers I got for the visor.
Nathan of Import Equipment (http://www.importequipment.com/) was great. He was very responsive, stickers are great quality and inexpensive. I got the semi-gloss to start with (which was slightly too small) and then got the matte. I much prefer the matte, but have pictures of them side-by-side, along with before and after pictures of the visors.
I'd highly recommend these stickers for anyone with a tC2!

Daytime Running Lights!!! I love the look when they're on (definitely custom) and when they're off (looks like an unmarked cop car, LOL)

HIDs are just 6000K, 35W from DDM Tuning. I think they look green in the picture because of the ambient light. I think the red sunset with the blue light ended up making the bulbs look greenish. I thought it was pretty cool.
And I don't know that I have all that many ideas. I just see cool places and make a mental note so when I have time (like today there was an accident blocking my way home from work) I can go back and take pictures. Sometimes it works out, others it doesn't.

DRLs are basically homemade. I picked up the LEDs from Autozone and wired them into a power source that's on when the car is on and off when the car is off (I used the MAF sensor). Took me a long time to find a suitable power source (wiring and electrical are not my thing), but once I knew which wire I wanted to tap, I got it done in about 15 min.
I have better wiring diagrams now, so once I figure out how to read them, I'll probably change how I have the DRLs wired.

Hey mighty, I was wondering if you could give me the part number for the alpine cables and the valve caps from logo, I went to the dealership today but they couldn't pull up the part, and they needed the part number not the product number which was listed on the optimize scion website
You need to talk to the Scion expert. Both the cable and the chromies are in the Associated Products system, not the normal supply system. I don't know the details on how it works, but I got the same answer you did until I spoke with the Parts Dept Manager who is also the Scion parts guy. Wellesley Scion can probably give you a better answer on the differences in the systems...
I'll pull out the receipt when I get home tonight and see if there is a different number than what I listed below.
Alpine Cable: 001137162162443
Chromies: 001137402200008

I just looked at the receipt from when I bought the cable and valve stem covers and it lists the numbers stated above. Parts guy just needs to look in the right spot and he should be able to find them.
