Yea unfortunately I just dont think itd be practical. Back when I was in the SPL game, I paid to have a car transported to World Finals (Nashville, TN) from Oklahoma City and it was about $2100 round trip. A sponsor paid for most of the expense so it wasnt tooo bad, but doing that out of pocket would suck. I could trailor it their myself, but id have to take off several days of work to get it there, and pick it up. Not to mention my Tundra would prob take $300 in gas per trip

 

I am interested in doing this, I have a spare car that I can drive if you only need my tc for two weeks. I am in Texas and don't driving out there to drop it off. Send me your contact information and let me know when is a good time to call and set this up.

I was asking about this and everyone was hating and said it couldnt be done. Now look ha

 

I read 2 weeks and was like eh I can ride my bike, but I wouldn't be able to afford the parts. If I had the cash I would definitely jump on this.

They are not even finished with the kit yet and your alread trying to sell your 5 speed.

I would do this in a second if I had the money and you guys picked up or did it in Florida. You'd also have access to my car for 3 months if you needed. I don't really dive it now with the xB.

I'd be interested in a 2011 engine and tranny swap with LSD and a nice fat turbo. I like what's under the hood of the in tC just not the outside except for the red 5 axis car which we will never see a kit for.

 

oh yeah...kareem has someone scheduled and I'm starting to dust off the parts!

back to the 6speed, any pics of parts and parts list maybe? just curious how involved this would be.

 

most def watching out for this if i still have my tC when I come back from Afghanistan....still kinda worried about the install though wont have too much left for the turbo

 

Wish i had the money, i would send my car to you to put this 6 speed in and a turbo kit because my car will be available for the next 3 years since i'm going to England in 5 days.
