Interior looks alot better.
100% better. The Galant and especially the Eclipse were meant to save Mitsu in NA, but failed. There is a lot of pressure on this new-and-improved Lancer and Evo X.

Build quality, resale value (on Mitsu products besides the Evo) and company instability aside, this is one great car!

At NAIAS the final version of the Lancer was shown, but the Evo X is still a concept, so things such as the LED lit interior may not make it into production.

Love the car, absolutely love the car!

the wheels will be smaller, the rear tail lights will have reverse lamps, and the headlights will be compliant with the law... mitsu says 95% of the concept will be the final production. I only say this because I think interior lighting WILL be an option according to mitsu boards... weird... are they copying scion?

look what i found... me like! man that thing looks like a beast in black...
Sorry, that's a photoshopped concept. The newer prototype's front end only vaguely resembles that. No where near as aggressive.

That's cool that the LED int will find its way into production. It must have been inspired by Scion, but it won't make much sense if they only offer it in the Evo. Bring it to everyone (that "wants" a Lancer). That's a good selling point. I can see the salesman with the customer,

"Can you tell me what's great about the new Lancer?"
"It's all-new, it's cheaper than a Corolla S, and...uh...it has LED lights in the interior!"

A great 1-2-3 combo for the Mitsu salesman! Sorry, that was a bit harsh, I just love selling a product I believe in.

I think he'll be so happy that someone was even interested in the Lancer he'll forget his selling points...

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! does he do a little shimmy when he says LED lights?

btw, i cannot emphasize enoguh that MITSU has not said if the lights will make it to production, but it was not in the list of things that need to be changed to put the car into production. 18s wont come standard, and the outside lights odnt meet regulations as of yet is hat Mitsu says HAS to be changed

They come in both. If I'm not mistaken the automatic EVO either has paddle shifters or the CVT to shift with the stick.

ya. It looks like a cross between a Lexas IS and an Audi/VW. Its just a hyped up mitsu that will end up like every other one, forgotten. Whatever happened to the almighty Mybach engine with the new eclipse? Nevermind the engine. Whatever happened to the new eclipse all together? And how long of a run did the Evo IX have? All forgotten. There were talks of Mitsubishi pulling out of the US market a few years ago, they need the reconsider it now.
