personally i like the rsx a LOT, but i love my tc. i couldn't afford the type s and that's why i went with the tc. i didn't want a non type s rsx, otherwise i'd feel cheated forever.

Default power

is their a huge fdiffrence in power between type s and rsx, i know 155 to 201 but is it redicuously noticeable, and just the rsx isn't faster than a stock tc is it? cuz that would make ME feel cheated

I like the rsx-s interior. I happen to think its a hideous car (exterior). You all can yell at me for saying so, but its an opinion so let it be. The non type-s is worthless, the type-s is fairly decent performance car. Not that much more than the tC to make it worth the extra money IMO. Plus, the low end torque always bothers me on any honda/acura

Yes, it's noticeable! I've driven both and the non type-s felt like grandmas coupe. The type-s had some zip

A stock RSX is butt compared to a tC. I wouldn't buy the Type S either. For less than half the difference I think you could mod the tC to whip it as well.

The tC is a great car. Enjoy.

the argument of putting the savings back into the car holds no ground IMO. you could always just buy a cheaper car and mod it to make it better, but that's not the point. honestly, i think the type s >>>>>>>>>>>>>> tc > base rsx. the type s is much better than a regular ol tc. but i did choose a tc over a base rsx. also take into consideration insurance costs.

2 of my friends have type-s (04,06) and 1 has base model, they both are great car. I really like 05~ type s, they look awesome and have honda's greatest 4cyl (k20)
But my dad didn't want me to drive that car lol

Insurance costs on a Honda are killer.
My 01 Civic SEDAN costs more than my 07 tC COUPE.
This is with a clean record and with the same coverage.

The RSX-S is a really nice car but the tC is just as well built.
Only thing I love on the RSX is the butter smooth 6-speed.

I agree with everyone RSX-S>tC>RSX.
If you are going to get the base RSX might as well buy a SI hatch for cheaper.

The main reason for high insurance on Hondas (Acura) is the fact that they are stolen A LOT.

RSX's in general look nicer IMO, both exterior and interior. it has a sport luxury flare to it. *NOTE: the following comparison is between STOCK cars only* the type-s is definitely quicker then the tc(non s/c). the non-type s is slower but in some cases stock RSX's have beaten stock 5-spd tc's and vice versa, probably because of driving skills. if both drivers were equal the tc would prolly win.

btw, not all non-type s RSX's are slow

Man If you think acura's interiors look super cheap then you'd think a mercedez's s550 interior is ____ty as well...
I'm a big honda fan. But not an RSX-S fan but a civic si fan.
God I've read on honda threads that with 8psi and a turbocharger on those things, they go from 180whp(197bhp) to 370 whp (385bhp) and they have the dyno sheets to prove it. And that's all with a turbo and everything else stock. My friend has an si and oh boy do i love it. I wanted my mom to get the civic si so i can steal it once awhile but she got a sedan lol oh well the 40mpg helps too i guess

I'd get a WRX, FJ Cruiser, Mazda 6, Mustang, Charger, Magnum and many more before I buy an RSX-S.
