What do you guys think of the new legacy? I think it's an awesome car for the money. The 2.5gt is pretty quick for such a beefy looking car and has some pretty nice luxury items that, in most cars, you would have to pay like $10k or more to get.
I'm gonna go check one out today hopefully to see one in person. Maybe even take it out for a spin
I know a lot of people think it's fugly but I like it..those fender flares scream to be slammed (no pun intended..) and an aggressive wheel setup

yeah it definitely got bigger but it's only about 50lbs or so heavier than the previous one.
Any so I just got back from checking it out and it's definitely a nice looking car. Not a sporty looking car like the WRX or STI by any means but IMO I really liked it..looks better in person. Very nice interior and really roomy.
The sales guy was nice enough to let me test drive one to, even after I told him flat out I wasn't there to buy it.
I test drove a 2.5gt Limited dark grey with black leather interior and power moon roof with 6spd manual. Had some body roll of course but the car has a fat ___ so what do you expect? But either way I could see myself in one I guess is the point. It was comfortable, quick, and overall I enjoyed. THe throws on the shifter were long but that doesn't bother me really.
Anyway, that's my .02..everyone is going to have a different opinion but for me it's
Oh also I sat in and have been around quite a few of the previous gen legacy's and that car looks small (cause it is) and is really cramped front and back seat wise..so in this case IMO bigger is better

we just got a 2010 legacy 2.5 premium for my sister. no turbo, but it is nice and comfy. and the CVT isn't bad.
i think the new legacy looks kinda like the infiniti M35/45 in a way. it isn't bad looking. but yeah, it got a lot bigger than the last generation, my mom has 2005 legacy GT. they probably super sized it to create a more distguishing different between the lagacy and impreza.
yeah, if i need a classier sporty car, i'd get a legacy gt limited in a heartbeat.

Yeah I was seriously really surprised with the car. I honestly to some extent like the way it looks better than the wrx/sti..but that maybe comes from the fact that, even though I love hatchbacks, I'm a sedan kinda guy at heart.
and more than definitely cheaper to insure than the tC haha that's for damn sure..
