Ive thought about a drop but I am planning on moving to Colorado in the next couple of years. Being from SoCal I don't know how weather and roads out there would work with even a mild drop of like .75in. So I am going to wait on that one

The g/f and I just came back from a trip this weekend. We had a rental (2012 camry) and the whole time I wished I had my WRX on some of the twisties. Of course my g/f gets motion sickness fairly easily so she would have killed me..maybe it was a good thing I didn't have it this weekend

They ride really nice. I have been messing with the dampening adjustments and have them set on the softer side. They are actually comparable to the stock ride, minus the body roll. Obviously some of the bigger bumps can feel a bit more harsh, but overall they are good. I plan on adding some sways as well. For the money, I would recommend BCs if someone is looking at coilovers under a grand.

I like it, the rear looks good!

You should be fine man. My tC is dropped over 2", and I get through all the winters/snow fine with a set of snow tires. I'm in the Denver metro, and I usually don't take my car in the mountains. I think your car would be fine with 0.75" drop. Freeways are not near as smooth as the SoCal ones (I love the surfaces on your freeways), as the snow creates many potholes and road imperfections.

Oh, and Subaru's are a dime a dozen out here lol. They have a huge following, many have STis and WRXs. When I'm in SoCal, I don't see near as many out there or in many other parts of the country.

Smoother freeways here? really? Lol I thought the same about parts of CO when I was just out their a couple weeks ago. Although whoever decided to pave the roads in highlands ranch with concrete needs to be shot. I swear I thought our rental had a flat for like 3 miles..then we changed lanes and the noise stopped

I'm sure I would be fine. I already know I wouldn't going out in the worst of the snow anyway. I'm no dummy. I just don't want to hear it from the g/f when I lower the car haha maybe I can do it without her noticing

Ah, seems like you were in the south metro. I-25 South of Denver is nice, as it's concrete and it is smooth. Once you go north of Alameda on I-25 it's mainly asphalt and there are much more imperfections. Haha, I can see that.

It'll be a fun car in the worst of the snow Yeah, if it's a subtle drop she may not notice. But if your spring rates are much stiffer, she might haha.

$200 is good.
I'm loosing power above 6500 rpm, my tuner thinks my cat's are melted and causing valve float. Installing O/R H-pipe this weekend. And i need to put the car back on the dyno to test it.
