Am I correct here?:
My friend has a 350Z where he has 245mm tires in the rear and 225mm tires up front. They are also directional tires. So I told him that he can't rotate his tires, because the rears have to stay in the rear, fronts in the front, and you cant put a left tire on the right side of the car and vice versa.

If you have different size tires front/rear and they are directional, you can't rotate...Right???


What do you do to stop the tires from wearing prematurely, other than proper alignment of course??

 

take it to the tire shop have them dismount them and mount 'em on the other wheel

 

so you can only rotate side to side? is that even beneficial?

 

yes,

just won't work if you have white wall tires then you'll get black wall tires ever other rotation
