I had some pretty bad wheel hop off the line, some better tires i hope should take care of that! Running street tires at the moment.

Still running the stock clutch for now, new one from Competition Clutches will be coming in about a week! After the break in period, i will be going back to the track.

Somethings not adding up. Bigger turbo and only gained 1.7 mph in trap?

Maybe from the wheel hop and lack of traction? *shrug*

The new turbo is a stock turbo that has been made bigger. Has a 65mm compressor wheel instead of the stock 13T and the exhaust side of the turbo is still the same size wheel (but has been clipped). Its keeps the same low end torque the small stock turbo provides but adds more up top.

Also you can see where i compare to others:

295's? I think you don't have enough power to push 295's. Might bog more than launch. I say go a little more narrower than 295.

I wish this car didn't weigh as much as it does. Would be a lot more impressive in the performance department.

Lightweight flywheel+drag racing dont really complement each other. Heavier steel flywheels add more rotating momentum off the line. Thats an old hardcore drag racing trick. Its all in the 60'. Top end cars have to play catch up all day long

My car stock has a dual mass flywheel which really hinders performance. One guy actually broke his flywheel while at the track! The light weight flywheel is still much heavier than the one I had on my scion. This entire clutch assembly (flywheel clutch and pressure plate) weighs 33 lbs

What are the v6 guys doing compared to the small 4's? I am sure there is some decently modified v6's, just wondering how they stack up. They should def have more low, and top end.

if you check out the spreadsheet then clitck 3.8v6 in the top you'll be able to compare all of their recent times. A few of them are running in the 12s already, one guy is close to hitting 11s, but that is with nitrous.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?..._A&output=html

The majority of the v6 guys seem to hit mid 13s with bolt ons.

Stock i believe the entire assembly is right around 45 lbs? The major difference is switching from a DMF to a SMF.

Cool, I didnt even see that tab lol. Have you driven a v6 model too? Wondering how they compare with someone who has been in both seats (turbo4/v6)

I can't make the comparo but I drove the v6 and loved it..very smooth and pretty quick. I almost bought it but the lack of backseat room was a deal breaker for me personally
