Default i think the prelude is a good match for a TC what cha think?

friend just got a 97 prelude and from what it looks like, for such an old car its got some nice specs to it. same torque more HP more MPG with a slightly smaller engine. me and him gonna go at it soon one day. im expecting a loss but owell. just kinda mad that our 2.4l engine isnt more beefed up and more gas efficient i mean our car is almost 10 years after the prelude. the prelude is just a good example of a nice match up and what the tc could of been. what cha think?

if by that you mean we are both overweight cars with underpowered motors then yes.

but i would much rather be driving a 5th gen prelude over my tC anyday.

i don't know about you guys but have you raced a prelude? Hell i beat the hell out of them all the time down here. Especially like the new Si's . My 2 friends, one with the coupe and other with sedan can only take me after 4th gear and thats by half a car.

Hondas are nice, I had 2 accords and a civic, but our Tc blows them away with that torque. Especially stock for stock.

Now if the prelude has vtech controller and a few more mods then maybe.

You have to give the lude some respect but I won't be scared if one tried to race me, it would be up to the drivers

what do ludes weigh? I heard they were pretty heavy for thier engine.

tc's are really nice look'n but the last gen 'ludes are cooler looking by far.
One of the coolest look'n cars made.
I always wanted one, but they were really expensive for what you got. Even the used ones were really expensive.
The last gen 'lude's engine is tuff and easily modded. Ya can get another 50 hp easy out of them, if not a lot more.
I read up on preludes though and they have big probs with their driveshafts. You have to replace them every 30,000 miles like clockwork. If ya don't they start to clang everytime you hit the smallest imperfection in the road and then fail. Scary chit man. Lude's also burn a hell of a lot of oil.
