Default importing a bB

ok, so i was reading up on this, and it says that anything you try to import has to undergo crash tests and a while bunch of other crap to be made legal for US use. how much work/time/money am i looking at to import a bB over here legally and have it as an actual street legal registered car?

You're looking at WAAAAY too much money to justify the cost. Certainly *well* over double the cost of an xB. Plus all the problems of finding a registered importer, and locating bB's in Japan. Yeouch.

It would be cool though. However, very few people would be able to tell the difference from an xB and an actual bB.

I think it would be easier to just import all the parts it would take to convert an xB to a true bB. Dash, steering column, rack and pinion, headlights and seats ect.
