Mountune Focus RS MP350

"All this adds up to two-tonnes of torque-steery fun courtesy of 345bhp and 340lb/ft of pulling power - the same as the RS500. The Mountune MP350 RS does the 0-62mph dash in 5.4 seconds and maxes out at 165mph. Expect to get better acquainted with trees and stuff."
yea good luck with 345 hp to the front

I disagree -
so your tc does 165mph???? Lets not go with the "well it could if I had xxx done to it". State facts. I bet your clipping the 130mph mark and then you run out of RPMS . You can turn boost up all you want, but when your limited by gearing, there is not much you can do. Also, if this thing was geared to only do 130 like the tc, it would lower the times drastically. You should know that, as many intelligent posts ive seen you make here - Yeah, in average real world conditions your not going to be doing 165 down the road, but knowing that it will do it (and can do it) in a proper situation is what its about. Why do you think your tc is better?

also, for what it's worth, 40 grand for a front wheel drive hatch with 345 bhp when you can spend that much and get a fully loaded new mustang gt with 412 bhp five liter v8 and rwd for the same price. so there is not much of a market over here for that car i would imagine.
drax I dont disagree with you that it may cost too much. And dont think I was bashing you or your ride at all - but sometimes people are blinded by the love of what they have. Trust me man, I have nothing but respect for you. You post some great comments, and you are not some "kid" on here who thinks his tc is a supercar.
That being said, some of us dont really care about money that we worry about how much xxx costs. If I wanted that car, Id buy it. (To an extent... ) I cant fit any more vehicles at my house because I am already pimping 4 rides at once, with a 5th on the way. Its like a mini race factory over here
And FWIW I wouldnt buy a mustang again. been there, done that. (Although, I DO love that Cobra R from a few years back...) Id take a KB s/c stang too.. but it would have to be primo to end up in my driveway.
I just wanted to make sure you knew I was not "attacking" you or your comments at all.

yeah, no problem. that ford focus RS is pretty awesome in terms of specs and performance, i love it right up until i see two things, the front wheel drive, and the forty thousand dollar price tag. so that makes me think for that money i could get an STI, a legacy 2.5 GT and have less whp, but all wheel drive, or i could get a camaro ss or mustang gt and have more whp and rear wheel drive, granted they have less utility with out the hatchback configuration.
i'm debating about what i'm going to do now that all the major upgrades on the tC are finished. i'm just adding finishing touches here and there, and need to address some wear and tear items on it that are just the car showing it's age and mileage. i'm debating if and when i'll get another car and what it would be. granted i don't really have room for a second car. but i think it would be sweet to get true muscle/sports car like the new 5.0 mustang gt and experience real v8 power and rear wheel drive, or to get a new legacy 2.5 gt limited and have a mature looking sedan that would be usable everyday and could easily be upgraded to make more power with upgrades to the turbo. would also be a good boost to my credit to finance a car.
