lol dude seriously chill, people have diffrent view of diffrent things its called an opinion. so just chill, i dont have a need to "man up" and drive the 350z i dont like the style or the brand sorry thats my opinion sorry to offend you. You said you've never driven one, I said "don't be scared to drive one". and Obviously I liked the scion line-up enough myself to purchase one. I am also planning on purchasing an xB for my G/F. I wasn't bashing scions, and I wasn't attacking you, though I think it's funning how you immediately assumed I was. I was merely questioning the validity of your opinion in saying a 350Z is girly while you are out driving a xB...come on man, lighten up. and please tell me this, what is a man's car? Because you say a RWD 300hp 6MT 2door is girly...

 

i've driven an 03 (i think it was) nismo? track edition 350z. it was a fun car. but for some reason i wasn't as impressed as i thought i would be. meh. nice car.

 

what were you comparing it to? what were your expectations?

 

i compared it to a 95 Supra. Handling wise and how it was over all w/o power. my expectations were too much for an 03 track edition compared to a 95 supra on eibach's. i'd figure they would've made it a little more fun on the 03's. but it wasn't bad.

 

oh, why didn't you say so! The TT 6spd Supra is a god! The supra is my unicorn (as Elanor is to Nic Cage in gone in 60seconds). Of course the Surpa owns. The 350Z was a compromise... A new car with zero miles and decent handling and power, vs. a used supra with crap loads of miles, and possibly previously owned by vin and driven by paul walker (or atleast trying to look like they were in the movie)... Cuz most of the supra's out there are over priced or over riced( or both). SO i went with the Z. If they ever bring the Supra back, bye bye Nissan, Hello Toyota.

 

i wasn't comparing it engine wise. i was comparing it handling wise. the supra's a low mileaged supra. (20 - 25k miles) it was rarely driven. most supra's aren't really over priced because of the potential they have. it is somewhat rare to find a completely stock MKIV. and the ticket price back when supras were coming out aren't even close to what people are getting them for now. so it's not really a over priced car. and you get what you pay for. (most of the time anyways)

:edit: also the 350z i drove had 25k miles on it at the time.

 

Hey man i'm really happy for you and your new Z purchase. You have good taste. I've wanted one badly for a while now. But if i had to choose between those or an EVO, i'd choose the EVO cause thats MORE of a DREAM car for me. I may be able to afford one of those Z's but i'd be even MORE BROKE throughout the month EVER MORE THAN I AM ALREADY LOL!. Don't sweat all the "hating" man, you've got your new toy and you're enjoying it!.
