ehh overrated

where im at, theres g35 everywhere and m3 everywhere, this will be the same when it releases

the skyline will no longer be special

they should sell it at like 89,000 like the NSx that way no one will have it and that way NSX will be still cool

Yeah they look exactly like the G35's. I've seen so many people like near where I live that try and act like they have the Skyline by puting skyline eblems on it. I even saw the 4 door G35 and the stupid kid put the lettering "SKYLINE" on the back.

everybody makes a big deal about skylines.

yay its koo that its coming to the US but its gonna get played out like g35s and m3s are

with that kind of money, i'd rather get an ariel atom or a lotus

about same price, how often do you see those cars??

It's a beautiful car but I got some questions in my mind.....

1. Will it really be affordable?

2. What's the price?

3. What's the power rating?

4. Who's going to drive a powerful machine when you can't go fast on the streets anyways?

lol i think the answer to that question is just about everyone

the reason why they make a big deal about the skyline is because of its legendary performance. if this car is anything like the previous skylines it will eat ferraris and porches and poop out m3s and lotuses.

people have been known to known easily mod these cars to well over 600 hp from the stock 280, i've heard stories of people topping out at 800-900 hp range. mind you this car has a 6 cylinder engine.

i think they said it was gonna sell for about $70k which i dont think is really "affordable" for most people. but considering that this should be placed in the supercar category, $70k doesnt sound so expensive.

it probably looks like a G35 because they were both designed by the same person

You know what this means. Toyota/lexus is going to be coming out with a skyline competitor. Supra. again?

Personally I prefer Infiniti(older ones) than older Lexus because of the power they put out and the feeling you get when you drive it. But if Toyota/Lexus can release something again with mucho power and easy modability, I would but it over Nissan/Infiniti just because personally preference towards Toyota/Lexus over Nissan/Infiniti.

Actually they make 4 door skylines. Not all skylines are the top performers that people think. I lived overseas for 5 years I have driven some nice R34 skylines hitting 700 HP easily. I have also driven Early 1990's skylines that sucked. And i have been in, but not driven a 4 door skyline.

They are nice cars if you get the right one. But just like every car, they have trim levels. So not all skylines are fast.

1. affordable, haha only if you make really great money.
2. cant remember
3. the power will be very nice should be around 400-450 or so
4. if you have to ask, it isnt for you (no offense)

I've heard this a lot. Very simple answer. G35=Skyline! This skyline is just the GT-R trim. People here dont seem to know that the Skyline isnt just the car in the video games and mags (which is the GT-R). In the Skyline line there was a full line like say a Subaru Impreza. You have the basic, sedan, bit sporty, top of the line performance version, etc., and along with 2 dr AND 4 dr. So, you go over to Japan and that 4 door G35 that you mentioned says Skyline on the back.

Hell, in LA, even Ferraris aren't rare.
Who cares? ANY production car is going to be a "so what" if you use that as your yardstick.
Ducati's used to be so rare, now I see more of those than CBRs - it doesn't make them any less great.
If you want rare - build a car yourself - ask Carroll Shelby...

Ehh it doesnt do much for me.. Perhaps in person it will be different, it looks like a 350z front and a g35 rear rolled into a concept car.. Not feelin it..

Im not to fond of the look does look nice but kinda like a g-35 .It should be a little more square w sharper and more defined edges like in the past. I too hope it doesnt get played out in the us.

In Japan, the G35 is the current Skyline. That includes the coupe and the sedan. There's a difference between a Skyline and a Skyline GT-R.

I personally dont like any of the concepts of the new cars coming out. The old GTRs and Supras look so much better. I just wished that they would keep the body style like it was or at least close to it.

It'll probably be an Infiniti "R35" or "GT35" anyway... Not a Nissan Skyline.

Would you buy a $70k supercar from a Nissan lot?
