Y'know Jeep makes a big thing about how all of their vehicles are capable of going over the Rubicon trail in stock trim. Apparently, they had to move a lot of rocks to get the Liberty over it. I wonder how they will do it with the Compass? Pave the trail?

Actually, they annouced and according to this article that the Compass will not carry the "Ttrail Rated" logo, the Patriot might though. Also, I never heard Jeep messing with the Rubicon Trail to get one of their models through, if they did it is not an industry first.

It was all over the Jeep lists that there was considerable "assistance" given the Liberty on the Rubicon tests. Jeep didn't exactly "mess with" the trail, but the Lib didn't make it over the trail by itself, either.
