so i found a red 93 rx7 stock (except for an ugly red leather shift boot) 148k on the chassis with a rebuilt motor at about 130k goin for $9988. The car looks pretty immaculate and I have about $2k to put down on it.

It would be my 2nd car and i would def be keeping the tC and if i play it right i could more than likely afford this for a weekend toy

What do you guys think?

the only thing it seems to have really as an exhaust which i would probably change out anyway. I mainly would like to see under the hood to see if the previous owner did anything else to it (like a different IC)

I've done quite a bit of research on these cars for some time now because I've always wanted one so i know what i'm getting myself into at least lol

i'm more worried about insurance on it really lol but my grandmother tells me our policy should get cheaper come this feb. so if i bought it now and insured it later then it shouldn't be a big problem..not to mention i have a couple things on my tC i've been planning on selling anyway.

financially i know i can afford it its a matter of if i want to lol so far everything is pointing towards yes

never seen an rx7 with a rebuilt motor go for that cheap..especially as close to stock as that one is. This is the best deal i've seen on this car in that kind of condition. I'm sure i could get one cheaper but not much cheaper. lol if you know of one in so cal thats cheaper (and in all seriousness i'm not trying to be sarcastic) don't be afraid to share it with me

 

what are u planning to sell on ur tc?

 

no if i got the rx7 i would be keeping the tC. I Have a couple routes i'm debating on going one of which is paying off the tC..saving up some money and pretty much buying an s2000 off the lot with little or no amount being financed by me. Or if i buy the rx7 i would be keeping the tC..i'm also pretty confident that i can have the rx7 paid off rather quickly.

i honestly doubt i'll get the rx7 but oh man its soooo tempting.

If they have it by the time i get my tax return back i'll probably pick it up since i'll have some more money
