There are a few really nice looking cars out there that I would be affraid to own because of who made them. The Pontiac Solstice is still a Pontiac, the Chysler 300 is still a Chysler, and even the mighty Viper is still a Dodge.

I think the Solstice is a really nice car. Although, i would have to agree that the Sky is better looking. I would wait and see if they come out with a GXP superchareged Solstice...that would be sweet! Or a S/C sky..

Just the same, its a shame they don't just bring the speedster over. Looks so much better than the Solstice, and the Sky doesn't quite capture the look. Not to mention both will lack, initially at least, the turbocharger you can get for the Speedster.

The Sky is my wifes next car. We are trading in her Passat for it as soon as we can get it for a decent price.

I think the car is hot, but like I said, more expensive than they lead you to believe... the $20k bottom line car doesn't have air conditioning, power locks, power windows, power convt top, cruise control, ABS.. etc. After you add those things expect to pay $25k+.

the new miata beat the solstice in about all catagories in the Road & Track compairson.
the solstice is neater look'n, but not that much more neater look'n than the miata.
I'd get the miata.

I really do hope toyota decides to do a MR2 replacement and makes a scion roadster.

you cant fit a supercharger on a mr2 spyder without cutting the firewall and such. it just wont fit without a lot of work

now to end confustion the solstic and the sky are the same frame. on another note i think this car can eaisly except 1,000 hp becase the fame is a corvette frame that is smaller. Pontaic plains on releasing the gpx ver. that will have 250 hp turbo engine. Also if i were any of you i would wait for the hardtop of the solstic. IT would be $1,000 less, weigh less and would be more rigde that the convetable.

Did anyone think the Sky and Solstice were on different frames?
