Tetsuya Tada was also the Chief Engineer for Scion, which leads me to think that the Ractis will eventually make an appearance in the U.S, either as a Scion or a Toyota.

I don't think the replacement for the xA has to be the redesigned ist, it can be the xR = Ractis.

We have the crappy Aveo here in Canada too. If you look at them closely they are not that similar.

I don't think the Yaris is made to look cool. It's main purpose is to be fuel effecient. So either a buyer can look cool in a gas guzzler and spend too much money on a car, or have an extra couple hundred dollars in their pocket and just use it as a means of transportation.

 

Nnnnnooo, there are plenty of fuel efficent cars that look cool. The xA and xB's are prime examples...

 

I like it much better than the Mazda5 that is available in the states.

 

Hey, just a side note, but why are people suddenly digging up these old threads. . . this dates back to October. Is the post activity here that slow? I'm not knocking anyone, but am just curious.
