I wouldn't buy a honda simply because they are too expensive, but I do like the looks of the RSX , toyota really has nothing I like other then the fj and the scion lineup

Acura is a very reliable car, but I wouldn't say that its AS good as toyota. I really feel that they make the best, most reliable car. I'm saying this as an opinion and a long time reader of consumer reports magazine. I'd have no problem buying an acura however. Especially that new supercar they are putting together for 08-09 I believe. WOW!
here you go
not trying to talk down onto toyota, i used to own 2 of them, both were great cars
but kbb facts > your opinions and consumer reports

for those who don't want to read this link, honda and acura tied 1st place for best overall resale value

i wanted an rsx before i settled on my tc. i was looking at acura dealers all around my area but found that i couldn't really afford one. i saw my tc at another dealer and liked it and could afford it so i got her instead. but if i could have afforded an rsx i would of gotten it.

Well I just traded my tC for a honda. I ended up getting the new Si sedan and I love it. I have same payments and my insurence only went up 30 bucks. But I needed the 4 doors to haul my siblings and having no trunk was just too inconvienient for me. I love both honda and toyota and will probably never own another brand besides them. Toyota just didnt have what i was looking for. 4 Doors, descent power, reliability, resale, trunk, and a really good pricetag.

I really wanted a RSX but the insurance was way too high. So I got the tC instead. Then last year I sat in the RSX for the first time and I hated how small it was. I'm glad I went with the tC.

Well my tC was loaded and stickered for around 21k and the Si stickered for like 23k but I got like 1500 in allowance and 4.9 was the rate I got my loan for which is alot better than the 5.9 I had on the tC. Both of those are for 60 months.

heres my honest opinion, and trust me when i say i LOVE tC's, hell i love them so much that i got two of them.

anyways, in my humble opinion, i would have to say that the acura rsx-s is a greater car for the value than the tC.

every single aspect bout the rsx-s is more appealing to ME than the tC, power, looks, hadnling, interior, and even the damn seats, they are like 141413252352 times better than the stock tC seats which couldnt hold me, much less anything else in place at a 80mph turn.
