DAMN good looking car. Didnt take a picture bc it was night time, but DAMN good looking car in person...bravo saturn BRAVO!

 

It is a great looking car....until you start noticing the details; fit and finish is absurd for car built in this century.

Also, after sitting in one for few minutes, I came to the conclusion that it would be a very difficult car to live with as a daily driver. I'd MUCH rather have the Miata.

The Sky looks amazing, one of the best looking cars in its class IMO. 1st thing I'd do if I ever got one though is debadge it...

My mom actually just got this car. Its looks better than the solstice, she gets a lot of compliments from people. Most dont know who makes it until she tells them its a Saturn, then of course they give her this look like "SATURN ??? they can make a car like this ?"

I think otherwise.
But more notable is that the younger "rice" (for lack of a better term) crowd, prefer the Sky over the Solstice. The Solstice is favored by the classic styling crowd.

they are the same car... saturn just costs about $5K more.

Except the Opel it looks like....Opel Speedster.....actually has a ____ load of power compared to this one..............They are quick and very upgradeable..............Still iffy on the "Saturn" badge.

Traded in my xB for one of these Skys... I like it a lot. It's not a redline, and isn't very fast, but it's a blast to drive with the top down and see peoples heads nearly twist off when they catch a glimpse.



The Opel - Saturn connection is growing, and it's bringing a better image to Saturn.
I'm really interested to see how well the Astra does if it replaces the ION (not sure if that is confirmed or just a rumor). There are like 10 different variants of the car overseas. I want the twintop convertible.

 

the aura's based off the g6.....whose tails and rear end are based off the tC.........

 

I doubt it.... The 20 horse upgrade won't be that potent. I trust the S2K's 8'500 rpm redline, V-tech, and Honda badging over the GM Soltice GXP, or Sky Redline any day of the week.

The one to watch out for is the next Mazdaspeed Miata. This should be a beast!
