Yeah we buy them used cause they have horrible resale value so u can get really nice MB for cheap. My dads 82 300cd diesel has almost half a million and it still runs strong and smooth!!! I heard the new ones aren't as great but hey If u got the money to buy a new one u should have the money to maintain it.

Oh yeah on the way to taking my gf to work there was a brand new Mb ml450 broken down. I thought about the post and started laughing. My gf was like wtf i was like its a sl thing u wouldnt understand.

hell, diesels are amazing. engines usualylast longer than the car iteself!

Yep I think theirs a few with over a million but the body is 97% rust.

The trick to keeping MB's problem free are the $500 - $5000 oil changes every 10k mi. As long as you do everything the tech says is needed for 'regular' maint., everything will be fine.
