Hey has anyone ever had any issues with idle after a SR intake install? I just threw a fujita on, yes yes i know an 08 civic auto (my gf's) and now when she slows to a stop as the car is downshifting it just about dies, and well, a lot of the time it does.
all hoses and clamps are tight.

anyone else have an issue like this? I know we're toyota and I wish she was too, but what can I do lol.

Reset the ECU???

 

I thought about that, but the whole battery was out while it was installed. But I could still pull the negative for a while and do it again see if that helps at all..

 

I had this problem on the box(the rpms dropped when I came to a stop). Reset the car or make sure the sensor is seated right. My rpm problem was solved when I re-seated the sensor and screwed it all the way down.

all ive ever dont is oil changes and i have 47k miles

 

FYI, I just saw MAF sensor cleaner for the first time at the local auto parts store. i've always just used alcohol.

 

yeah this is on a civic... and it still does it every now and then. I'm going to see if I can't seal the MAF on the intake with a gasket or something, and then reset the ECU.
