it's pretty ugly and kinda bland to me.
and that motor or not it's still a hyundai and it's 30k.
let's see for 30k I could get a 1 or 2 year old nissan 250z with 306 hp 6spd and rwd , or I could get the gorgeous infiniti g35 same engine and trans as the 350.
hmmm.
30k for a less attractive pretty bland HYUNDAI , or get better looking , better made , higher resale nissan or in infiniti ?
HMMM.
No brainer in my eyes.
hck , for only about 20 or 25 I could have a supra either stock or tuned already.
NO brainer. this hyundai is a dumb buy

Genesis Coupe is really nice for a Hyundai. I'd take the turbo 4 myself. The back side window is odd. sometimes it looks good some times it doesn't. Overall tho, nice look'n, good price, and good HP.
Ummm, if I'm not mistake'n you can get the entry level 350Z for around the same price tho. I'd go with that instead personally.
Try'n the find a used G35 coupe that hasn't been drive'n hard would prove diffictult.
Try'n to find a used Supra that hasn't been down right assaulted within an inch of its life would be nearly impossible.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe
Bucking the common procedure of creating concept cars to gauge public reaction before launching a more subdued production model, the production Genesis Coupe was actually at the Hyundai's design studios in Irvine, California, before the concept. The car was then reworked, to give the enthusiast an idea of how they could customize the model. The design of the production car is no less purposeful and deliberate, with a definitive side feature line that extends from the front fender and gradually dissipates through the middle of the door. It is then picked up again lower in the door before rising up and becoming more defined as it blends into the rear haunch. Another very notable feature is the DLO, which dips down aft of the B-pillar for greater outward visibility for the rear seat passengers. Hyundai hopes this feature will be further developed and carried over to other vehicles as a clear visual identifier for the brand. At the front the face has been toned down from the aggressive demeanor of the ‘tuned' concept, with a more subdued headlamp design. At the rear the lines of the car transfer seamlessly from taillights joining the bumper with the light on the opposite end, giving the vehicle a clean and elegant aesthetic. The interior, created at Hyundai's design center in Korea, is a more conservative approach than the exterior, yet retains the sporting theme. The upper portion of the IP is a darker color than the lower half, which neatly integrates the vents into the corners. The pronounced center console features an aluminum appliqué, which enhances the sport aspect, while a small display screen adorns the top center of the IP. Hyundai has clearly used Nissan's upscale Infiniti G37 as a benchmark in creating its new coupe. It is a well-resolved design which pushes the sporting nature of the brand forward.

Well first off the v6 is going to start at $25k...not $30k. And the Turbo 223hp 2.0 4 cylinder is going to start at $20k.
I personaly like the styleing alot....definitly isn't "bland" as someone said earlier. Some very nice and interesting lines....front fascia could be cleaned up abit, but I'm sure aftermarket will take care of that. I'm looking forward to the targa top that will follow shorltly after the initial release about November/December of this year. Also a convertible and a lightweight race version will come out as well. Turbo 4cylinder, 6 speed, and RWD....for $20k....definitly a good buy... I'm definitly going to check it out, and possibly trade up.
N don't knock Hyundai just cuz its a "Hyundai"...They have stepped up their game alot as far as built quality is concerned...They are closely nipping on the heels of Toyota(who's quality has been slipping with their recent growth) and Honda....And I would take one of Hyundai's products well before any American brand car, that's for sure....

Hyundai has stepped up their game but it's still hyundai.
if they will be20k and 25k then something has to give. that kind of performance for that little coin means something somewhere(or maybe multiple other parts of the car) are going to be VERY sub par.
from mileage , to safety , longevity , build quality.
you don't think it;s bland and un-original at all?
I mean look at the headlights and tailights looks pure elantra. OOHH such syle :/
and looking at the side shots the interior is pushed forward with an mal proportionately huge (yet wasted space) trunk

and bne stock turbo supra's are easy to find , not gonna be 25k but they're easy to find
wow thats a big jump for Hyundai..but the car only looks good from the side, good power output but the front grill is just nasty. They need to make it look better before releasing it to the public market plus 30 grand is a little pricey..maybe 25 would be better.
