Considering using this at our awards banquet this year, wanted to see what you guys think... My first real attempt at using iMovie to make something decent. Though I have to say I got a bit caught up in the musical selections and not so much the actual video....

I like the camera angle in the first video portion. Which car were you in? And where is Glen Region?

 

All of those were from my car (only footage I had) except the black Corrado. The Glen Region is in "upstate" NY... centered around Watkins Glen International. I live about 20 min from the track - though we don't use that for autox.

 

Cool stuff man! Our banquet is in January and they usually do something similar to that.

Just watched it now, looks great ack! I'd love seeing that at an end-of-season banquet.

I liked a lot how you changed the tempo of the music with the feel of the video. When you changed from racing to pit photos or hanging out stuff you slowed it down, very well done if you ask me.

One thing I noticed was during the "Dustbowl" scene and song, the music ended a few seconds before the video did. Try to phase out the video with the music, even if you end up cutting a second or so off the video. You shouldn't have dead space in the background music while the video still plays. Otherwise, great job.

 

Ya, that part was a bit tricky - but I was working with a few specific sized audio clips. I'm going to give it another once over before the banquet - but you're right. There are a couple spots there.
