That's the harness I was looking at getting. Either that or the Willans Supersport.

 

Ya, I have tried to "lock trick" and that worked OK. Like the harness though. Another good investment if you don't have it is the knee rest from Zeta Products. Otherwise you'll have bruised knee after every event.

Can you take some pics of your harness? I want to get some ideas for how to mount it and still be able to use my trunk.

 

Can get some pics later... but it does have a disconnect. So part of the rear section can just sit by itself in the trunk and the rest can sit on the floor behind the driver's seat. Right now I have it connected behind the driver's seat but can show a couple shots later when I get out.

Keep in mind, I just did this yesterday. Before I had it in the upper seatbelt mount, like I mentioned. Right now I've just had it setup as Option 1. But Option 2 will let you keep your trunk without much problem.

 

Thanks. I guess I'll have to get the detachable mid section like that. Then if I want to open my trunk, I can just disconnect the harness in the middle.

 

The Rallye 3 and 4 both have the disconnect (others probably do too) right behind the headrest.

Looks like there is only one there with the detachable tail. And it would be the equivalent of the Rallye 4 from Schroth... so you'd need two rear mounting points.

 

 

Well there are three of the child seat mounts... so you could use that one and use the driver's side mount and the middle one.
