Default EDFC in AutoX?

So I'm looking to upgrade my suspension for the 09 season, and I'm considering the Tein SSPs with EDFC. Based on what I've been reading in the rules online, Electronic Dampening systems are not legal in SCCA, and most of the local clubs in Detroit base their rules almost entirely off of the SCCA rules.

I'm thinking that it will be legal as long as I set the EDFC, and then turn it off. Has anyone had any experience with this setup?

Thanks!

from what i understand its leagal as long as you can't reach the controller to adjust during your run. your not supposed to adjust during the run. after or before is fine.
