that event was the porsche club event, where all the X-class cars are pooled into one group (not an SCCA thing) so i'm up against everything lol.. took like 13th, but i also had the best consistancy with a .001second gap between back to back runs
Great vids.
Assuming the weather is nice, I'll be autocrossing my xB on Sunday! I know it isn't the best car in the world for it, but I'm just out there to have fun. I think the slolom will be the xB's weak point, though.

honestly, i'd not put a front sway on the car, yes the car will be more stable, but you'll lose valuable time trying to plant that inside tire in a turn. i originally started out with the Hotchkis setup. ( i have the hotchkis sway up front now) and they're unsuited for each other. the front bar is way too stiff in comparison to the rear. so i sold the hotchkis rear (which, btw, in conjunction with the stock front sway, is an awesome feel) and put in a progress rear sway. they work well together, but you'll definitely see tail-happy car attitude on throttle lift turning. i got my car sideways last night in fact, on dry pavement :D it all comes down to how streetable you want the car to be, and what sacrifices you'll give up at the track to do so.
Looks pretty good Tamago! How do you usually run in FSP? What kind of cars are your main competition? The only Scion I've seen autocross up here in the Philly region was an xB that ran in H-Stock last year. Still haven't seen any tC's running. I would think that they would do okay, but haven't seen any to provide a comparison.
BTW, are you still running the stock dampers? Just being curious. Anyways, keep up the good work there.
Also noticed the in-car camera mount. Homemade or purchased?

well, with the local miami club, i'm usually a third place finish, especially lately, with a prep'd focus and a fully race prep'd datsun 510 almost always beating me. i'm up against all kinds of cars, from a MKI rabbit to a MK3 cabrio, to jettas, foci, civics, pretty much everythign allowed in the class i've raced against.
i'm running Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC II coilovers. they're alright, non adjustable dampers tho, too soft for my liking..i'm looking into something a little more agressive for the future.
oh, my camera mount is home-made

Nice, I like that mount! Mine is a pretty simple design, but still yet effective. I don't have a harness or harness bar, which is perfect for a camera mount, so mine attaches to the headrest. Here's my little homemade creation. ;)
Not too shaky at all. I have it mounted to the driver's seat which makes it steadier. Here's a video of a recent event that I did.
