Completed event 3 today for the Glen Region. By far one of the oddest courses I've run on. There lines of cones that we first slalomed between and then ran up and down along them. It'll make a little more sense after you watch one... if you can forgive the crappy video quality. My cousin and her b/f were there to watch and I think she got a partial video of my last run, I'll post that up when I get it too.

I got 3rd out of 3.

But that's b/c the 2 people from the first event with a fully prepped Civic were back and it was me and them. Everyone else even knows I have zero chance to beat them... so I just accept it and have fun. I did beat a LOT of others though. Times were a bit slower than expected today, I think... and the smaller cars did better than the powerful ones.

That is one crazy slalom. Good videos though, and great driving! I was at a Porsche event today, didn't do so hot though. Even with my bad times I still beat some $80K 911's

 

Ya, it was still a lot of fun. My poor tires though.

The course was actually pretty slick, which is why you hear so much tire screeching.

But ya, the design was just odd.

Ya, I guess just the right course for us somehow... though like I mentioned before, I had thought maybe the STX guys would have us by a bit with LSD, but no...

I'm racing this weekend at moroso (west palm beach, fl), and they are going to do it in the gokarts track, like a mini-road race..... I don't know, it'll be weird, but fun, hopefully we'll enjoy it, the track is BIG.

I was leading the HS class but I just installed everything all at once and moved to FSP... I don't know how I'm going to do, I have slicks and the last race with slicks, I was 1.5 seconds behing the 1st and 2nd in FSP... so I guess I'll get them

 

Wow... FSP? Was it the pulley/camcon that put you in there somehow? I'd think you might end up in SM or something like that... strange.

There was a Central NY event on the 10th that was on a small track like you're talking about... I wanted to go but didn't have the funds for the long drive and such that weekend so I missed it.

 

Well, based on the scca rules, a VTEC (for Hondas) / VVT-i Controller is legal.
The pulley?... emm, I'm not really sure, should found out just in case, but everything else is legal in FSP.

There's an xA that races in there, fully built for autox.
