Default A newbie sharing my passion for the customizing hobby...

Hi everyone. I'm relatively new here but I wanted to introduce myself. Some of you may have seen my latest creation...the xGangster kit which I worked with Steve at ScionPro to design. I'm a total car fanatic and I do automotive related artwork and design on the side. I've got a bit of experience doing custom paint as well. I'm 38 years old and should be one of those older guys who likes muscle cars, but honestly, I started off in the VW and mini-truck scene and really love the whole compact car scene right now. Muscle cars are nice, but I love the new styles of cars and the possibilities they offer as well as being more reliable in most cases.

I've been intrigued by the Scions...especially the xB's...since the biginning and one day I hope to get me one to customize.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and also share some of my previous and current cars as well as some of my artwork. So...first off...my previous car, a 2001 ZX3 with H&R Cup Kit, 17 x 8.5" Motegi MR12's, Kaminari front lip, Fiber Images hood and much more. I designed the graphics and did the custom paintwork myself as well as pinstriping...

Hard to see, but a bit of blue flake to accent the malibu blue paint...

And now for my current ride. Nothing special, just an '06 Mariner with some 20" VCT Castellanos on Toyo Proxy 4 rubber and smoked out glass. We wanted something a bit more classy and roomy...

and my wifes current ride (and mine) a 2001 Mustang GT with H&R springs, cobra replica wheels, MAC cold air intake, stalker hood and a few other options as well...

and then I thought I'd share some of my artwork with those of you who might be interested...

Of course the xG as many of you may have already seen...

and this is a rendering of my buddies truck that I painted...

Anyway...I hope you all enjoy my cars and my passion for the customization hobby. I look forward to watching this site, meeting new people, hopefully sharing any knowledge I can and with any luck, someday I'll actually own an xB and can really share my creativity on a new canvas! Feel free to check out my website to see more of my artwork at www.tmooregraphics.com.

Any and all comments are certainly welcome.

Nice! What program are you using to render your images? Really like your concept art

Thanks everyone! I'm using Adobe Illustrator for all of my renderings. Many of them start out from some initial sketches on paper but they all are finally illustrated in Illy...all by hand. Just my trusty mouse and keyboard. No fancy wacom pad or none of that foo-foo stuff.

Glad you all like my work. I'll post up more stuff as I get more finished.
