R/T has no effect on the final time. Even if it's negative. Nice job!

Yah i know. the time starts from when you leave. even if your R/T is 10 seconds off, but a fault is a fault.

Wich is why I said he had a good time also.

I scanned 3 of my slips from a local 1/8th mile track.. They're in my profile and here they are on putfile:

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=4/9000142169.jpg&s=x11

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=4/9000171033.jpg&s=x11

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=4/9000193183.jpg&s=x11

5-speed tC, stock tires, K&N cai, megan header, and TWM short shifter..

run 1: 9.88 @ 71.51
run 2: 9.91 @ 71.70
run 3: 9.89 @ 71.33

I ran 3 more times and also hit a 9.9 each time.

Havent been to the track that much as really I havent done anything engine wise to my car yet. I figured 15.7 would be the best i could get out of my car stock with 18's.

the 60 wasnt as good as I'd like. I usually get low 2.2's. So it tells me I could probably squeeze a 15.5 out of the car with a great 60.

If only I was running 17's again ahh. could probably shave another .10's off of my time.

Here are my results from yesterdays Triathlon show at Irwindale drag strip(7 runs total):

Best R/T: .607
Best 60': 1.880
Best 330: 6.046
Best 1/8th: 9.467
Best MPH: 72.37

I was very happy with my results, I'm really surprised I was getting really good traction too and the Weapon R Dampner did its job, just wish it would have been a quarter mile instead, but either way, had allot of fun, thanks.

Slips can be found here:

Guessing timing issues at the track with the 60'? Pretty impressive 1/8th with what you have =)

Yeah, there was definately timing problems with that run.. That wasn't even with slicks or drag radials.. it was on street tires. Also, he only had I/H/DP.. Most of other times seemed correct, just that one freak run.

On Friday, I went for my first run ever on a track. Many people that I were with were having issues with the track, and running about .4-.6 slower than their typical times elsewhere. Unfortunately I only was able to run once, but it definately pushed me to get out there more. The car is stock, except for a short shifter. Here's my "slip" (I'll add a scan later)

R/T: .457
60': 2.342
330: 6.745
1/8: 10.376
MPH: 68.11
1000': 13.492
1/4: 16.144
MPH: 85.12

I ran against a Saturn Ion who ran 16.337 @ 92.41mph. It was obviously modifed (trap speed gives that away), but I could not tell if it was supercharged or not.

Now I'm anxious to get out there and try again
