Red Line Time Attack, (updated w/ pics and Video p.3)
Hello everyone! It's that time again. Redline Time Attack will be visiting Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia for the 2nd year in a row. We are looking forward to this event with a lot of anticipation. Our inaugural event last year was a success and we expect this year's event to be nothing short of outstanding.
More and more top tuner companies and racers are expressing interest in coming out and being involved. We will be expanding our High Performance Driving Event on the Saturday of the event with formal instruction available to everyone (and mandatory for first timers). We're working on a much larger vendor midway and manufacturer presence this year, including representation from tire manufacturers and vehicle manufacturers.
For those of you interested in taking your car out on the track, we have kept our entry fees very reasonable for this year. The entry fee for Saturday's High Performance Driving Event is only $175 and you can expect to receive 2.5 hours of On Track time. There is no racing on Saturday, simply hot lapping and practice.
The entry fee for the Redline Time Attack on Sunday is only $200. If you want to attend both days of the event, the entry fee is only $350.
Here is a link to our registration page for the event:

We are working on a couple of ideas for a pre-event promotional date. Please visit our website for updates on what you can expect to see at the event (drivers, teams, vendors, entertainment, etc). Spectator entry fee for the event will only be $15 (good for both days)... and if you get your hands on one of our event promotional fliers, those are good for $5 off (you will also be able to download the coupon from our website). We will also have a car show on Sunday for those of you not interested in taking your car on the track but who want to show the car off. Each Car Show registration comes with 2 spectator passes good for the entire weekend.
If you have any questions for me, please post them here. You can also call us if you have a question that you need answered quickly. We hope to see some of you out at the track!

I was planning on running the tC in the Street Class...but it may have to wait till next year...between buying a new autox car and getting it ready for next year's season I can't justify the wheels and tires I'd need for this event...(it seems the RS1 Enkeis aren't cut out for track duty--I've had to have the fronts straightened after each of the last two track events I ran--the combo of brake heat and lateral load are too much for these 18s). If I get my new toy in time I might bring it down.
We were there last year in an Evo (see pics and story here) and had a blast!

I'm not set up for it either, but Shenendoah is such a fun course, that I would have just gone out and had a blast....At least in the tC I had a chance at the FWD Street....my not yet found car is RWD and will never be fast compared to the RX7s and S14s that run...but it will be fun!

Also, anyone from out of the area I will give you a place to crash no charge! (Travis) you would probably be competitive there the course is technical but has 2 really nice straitaways too. The car that won FWD Street last year was a VW GTI (new style) with suspension work and minor bolt ons. If you think you can keep up with that then you have a good chance! Also 2nd place was a STOCK acr srt-4 neon, and 3rd was a STOCK Civic Si.
