Default tC owning HS in Autox

The tC owned HS and PAX at first Louisville Points Event.

Keep in mind the only thing that has been done to the car is a Magnaflow catback and 17x7 Motegi Track_Lite wheels with Kumho Victoracer v700s.

We came in 1st and 3rd overall out of 145 drivers in the PAX standings and 1st and 2nd in HS.

We also put in some pretty good RAW times 46th an 51st.

The tC just might give the "Mighty" Mini a run for HS this year.

Nicely done!

Curious, how'd you get PAX from 46th place?

How long have you been autoxing?

Thanks.

I've been autoxing on and off for about 6-7 years now. This is my first season in the tC.

I guess the RAW time plus the PAX correction factor made the difference. HS has the most PAX correction factor and we had pretty good rax times, so I guess it added up to a great PAX time.

How about you? Do you do much autoxing?

Took the tC to its first event two weeks ago, finished 3rd (top time of 53+) of 9 in HS (and 66 of 180)...car is still completely stock including 18" street tires. I lost to a '06 Civic on R compounds who ran an unbelieably quick 49 and a Stratus on Rs with a 52+. I felt good about the results and know that if I had slicks I'd have at least finished 2nd.

I used to run a SC'd GTI in SM and did decently for having a non competetive car. I have the opurtunity to co-drive an Evo in STU for a few events so I'll be sidelining the tC for a while.
