So I was driving home today in my tC And I see some headlights coming on real quick its a S2000. We pulled up to the light and he honked and started reving so I gave a honk back and got ready to launch. The light went green and I started to give it a lil burn I pulled him pretty hard (Im guessing I have more TQ) I rode 1st all the way out to 6 and he was beside me by then. In second gear he started to pull ahead his power seemed to come quick, I rode second out and once I was in third I got in front again. As soon as I got in front he started brakeing. I dont know if this is due to him maybe loseing? How do the 2 stack up? Did I really win or did he get scared or just stop.

 

Im almost positive the s2000 should own the tc. He definitely eased up on the gas.

Yeah I know I hate when people just barley get in front and stop if thats what he did. I really think I won because of the TQ.

I call BS. There's no way a tC would stay neck and neck with an S2000. The power-weight ratio of the S2000 is a lot better than that of the tC, and the fact that the S2000 has better gearing.

 

my tC has beaten a couple of S2000's at the track. albet not by much, but i still won.

equal drivers the tC will be beaten, but hey, i've seen it go the other way around with my own personal experiences a couple of times.
