well... of course have 1, 2, 3, and D.

If you really really really want to drive aggressively, you can use 1 and 2 for the turns and keeping the car in gear [2nd gear is good till 60mph i believe]. Otherwise, mash the gas, keep both hands on the wheel.

left foot on the brake, really frickin hard...right foot giving gas...i don't have an auto so i don't know how many RPM's you can get up to...i normally launch between 3 and 4 thousand RPM's..so if u are able to get it that high..release the brake pedal when you're ready to git gone

I don't suggest you doing that often. Too much heat will build up in the torque converter. You're also putting a lot of stress on all of the bands in the converter, and will eventually stretch them so far that your tranny will start slipping.

If you do hold the brake and the gas, the torque converter will limit you to 2.5K RPMs, which isnt a whole lot better than just mashing the gas when the light turns green.

left foot braking is only good for turns i should have been more specific and mention that you use it for weight transfer. if your trying to launch you shouldn't rev the enigne and take off just use the left foot to hold the brake and when ready to go let off and mash the gas with with right foot.
