What do you consider "walked on him hard"? 1 car length?

If you're dead even with him all the way through 3rd gear, then you aren't going to gain much in 4th.. That LS2 is strong up top.

You realize that you would of had to beat him up at least 7 car lengths just to be able to hang with a LS2 GTO, right? If you're even in 3rd gear then you are not putting 7 car lengths on him in 4th, wake up from your fantasy world.
