Okay I am hoping someone here can help me out with Allstarrims.com. I place an order with them on November 5th for $2300 dollars of wheels and tires for my TC. Arthur told me that they shipped on Friday Nov. 18th which was fine now it is Dec 2 and still nothing and now I look at there website http://www.allstarrims.com/ and the main page says:

"We apologize for the inconvenience.

Allstarrims.com is closed for business.

All orders and questions pending will be acknowledged within 2 weeks.

For further information please contact allstarrims01@yahoo.com"

Does anyone know anything about this? Are they out of business? Should I be trying to find a lawyer to either get my items, or my money back. I have e-mailed them at the address shown and have tried to call several times with no luck. My next step was to call the website administrator and see if he had any info. HELP!!!! I really want the wheels and tires for my car......NOW

 

Did Arthur give you a tracking# when you spoke to him??

 

He told me they used a local carrier and just gave me a confimation number, I have e-mailled and called trying to get any kind of tracking number with no sucess. I told Arthur that I did not want these items just sitting out in front of my house and he said they would call me first.

 

If there's any SL member that lives close to their business address perhaps can drive/drop by to see if they are closed or not. Some small companies would only close their online business but not their physical store. Please be kind and help out another SL member....swing by the address and confirm if they are really out business.

Wow that sucks I hope that this isnt so fly by night company and that you either get back you $$ or you get your rims.. Try the Better Business Bureau and see if there is an alternate company or something... Good Luck..

What really sucks is that the rims are the Axis Finish 19 x 8.5 FR 19 x 9.5 R and they were the only ones that had them. Man I so want these!!!!

Hey stick_1NZ that was a good thought I was trying to figure out a way to find other business close to that and ask the same thing....I have not figured out a good way to do it yet

 

If you paid by credit card, you can file a dispute with your credit card company and get your money back. I'll keep looking for other ways to get in contact with these guys. Good luck bro.

I really am just hoping to get what I ordered. I paid for it with my Visa Debit card so I suppose I could talk to my bank and see what they say. I wonder if I could also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I also have the owners name maybe I will look his home phone up and see what I can do.

I searched and searched for a vendor for rims, and finally found the ones I wanted and look what happens...

 

Bring your bank statement and a screen shot of their website's front page and bring it to your bank. Also you may file a complaint with the BBB. One suggestion, you may want to check here before you make a purchase as far as the vendor's integrity. Usually SL members have come across some vendors with positive or negative feedbacks in the past. Just my $0.02. Good luck bro.

I took your advice though and took those items to the bank. They said they are going to do a reg-e form which is basically a fraud investigation. They are going to reimburse me the money and then go and investigate the company/transaction to see if indeed it was fraudulent. At least they are doing something.

Still does not change the fact that I want my wheel and tires!!!!
