Has anyone heard anything about Allstarrims closing yet???

 

So the saga continues....So last Friday I contacted Allstarrims web hosting company and talked to the webmaster for the site. He informed me that he "thought", dont quote him, that Allstarrims might be getting sued so they had to close their doors. IMAGINE THAT, I am about to file a lawsuit myself. Surely there is a case if someone takes $2300 dollars from you and then does not deliver the merchandise. My bank is going to issue me a provisional credit this week and then Allstarrims has 45 days reply. I wanted my rims and tires yesterday and now I have to wait at least 45 days to take the next step...which will be a lawyer.....MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

 

Wow dude that sux big time a real kick in the **** at christmas time. I feel real bad for you. I hope all turns out for the better for you..

 

Finally found another business in the same building Allstarrims, I talked to a guy named Nick from a place called Evertire. Nick told me that he knew of that business and he knew people were still at that shop. So Nick being the good guy that he is, took all if my contact info and walked it down to Allstarrims. Man now that is the kind of person I want to do business with, someone who will go out or there way for you......I HATE HINDSIGHT!!

 

Jester I hope that it works out and doesnt become another dead end for you. Nick sounds exactly like a stand up business man..

Wow I just read that story and holly crap it is too bad that you didnt see that first. This is exactly why any business I am attempting to do business with I check with the bbb to find if there is any complaints on the company. I would reccommend it in the future.. I will keep an eye out for you for those rims when I am sitting at my desk bored. I feel bad for you bro and hate to see peoples hard earn $$ stolen like this, I have been there and its a sh**ty feeling..

If you want I got some vacay time coming I'll meet you in IA and we'll go to CA and bust some heads if it makes you feel better....

 

Well after hearing that Nick guy say there are people at Allstarrims you dont know how tempting it is to take you up on that offer. I might just be taking that trip after christmas if I dont hear anything.

Maybe we could show up with FBI apparel on get what we need then kick the $hit out of some people just for the hassle they have caused!

Everytime I think about this whole situation it just pi$$es me right off, I thoughr I had actually did my homework when I was looking for vendors....

 

Well I know how it feels man.. I have past on many offers because I feared it to not be real.. Hey that FBI idea sounds pretty good I know a place where we could get some tactical gear and clothes to use. We could bust in there and confiscate some rims for ourselves and get you back your money could be fun..
I hope that this Nick guy comes through and the bank takes care of the rest for you. Otherwise its gonna be a head bashing of the worst kind for them..

 

Well I know the bank is going to come through I just dont want to have to wait another 45 days to order a set of wheels and tires...Of course it should not make to big a difference since I cant really use them right now anyway....SNOW!

And yeah it does suck having to wait 45 days.. I understand your point about the waiting for the snow deal but still as long as they were in your possesion you'd be happy... It would beat having to wait then reorder then wait to install to much waiting IMO..

 

Yeah and believe my I am not the type that likes to wait, when I see something I want. I want it now. I would much rather have them sitting at the house waiting to go on the car, than to have to keep looking. I wonder if SC members get discounts through any wheel companies....

My car only has a thousand miles on it and I cant quit customizing it....and I hate delays!

Mac I like those 2 I just wish I could see them on a Scion just to make sure, I talked to the head engineer at axiswheels and that wheel was design in a 19" specifically for the Scion TC so I am sure it would like......well like the MAC!!!!

 

I hear ya.. Oh and btw the names Tim (if it makes it easier) I will try to see if they or something is mounted on a tc so you can get the idea... I think they'll look real tight.. I was thinking the axxis supermesh (99% exact look just more mesh) for my celica before I it go..

 

I am heading to Florida this evening and will be down there until the 28th I am planning on checking a few vendors down there I figure by the time I get back I should have a clear pictures as to exactly what I want. Kind of interesting that my intial choice was between the Axis Finish and the Penta's!!

I should probaby stick with my gut feeling on these and get the Penta's...
