Default AutoRND and Their Horrible Customer Service

Just to prep everyone for this, I just want to mention how expensive and time consuming it is to get a set of wheels from Japan. With that said, I believe that I have more than enough of a reason to say what I am about to say. A couple of years ago, I purchased a set of Work Euroline DH's from:

Automotive RnD
P.O. Box 360815
Milpitas, CA 95036
Tel: 408-635-0000

I was referred to Rishie, who had the perfect wheel fitment recipe as I was told. Well the first set of these wheels that I waited for were great, not one problem what-so-ever, so I ordered another set for my replacement xB after my accident. I have had nothing but problems with this set, so I decided to put in a claim with AutoRND, one of the only authorized importers for these wheels. I was then told by Rishie that he won't replace the wheels or get them refinished because Work Japan will not foot the bill. As an authorized importer of these wheels, his company should take them back and get a replacement set for me as they are a manufacturer defect. The communication was horrible as he would send an e-mail, and have someone translate, then send it to Work Japan, who then would turn around and set it back to be translated and then sent to Rishie. Nothing was accomplished and I feel it is a large mistake on their part for losing a good customer over not doing what they should have done in the first place.

The defects to the wheels are:

The lips are faded and turning rainbow colors, the coating on the inner lip is chipping and peeling away to leave the welds open to the elements, and the metal spray from the center being welded to the barrel is all over the outer lip as well.

If anyone wants to see pictures of the defects, just send me a PM.

If anyone knows of a way to get these wheels replaced through Work, please let me know. I was told I would have to replace them at my cost because it is all hearsay as to the damage.

If you really have an issue with them and don't want to patronize their business, talk to Adam at Weksos Industries. They're an authorized importer of Work Wheels and they have fantastic customer service. Adam is a great guy and will help you with exactly what you need.

Click the link in my sig for their site and phone number.
