In a nut shell, i was looking to buy a set of black face xB1 tails. RacerWheel shows a set, and sells for $195. Yeah, its a little more then the Sonars that are now availible with a black face and chrome inserts for the 24 LEDs. Those can be had for around $141 through Ebay ... the $195 that i paid.

I ordered the tails on may 30th. Almost a week goes by and nothing more then a conformation that the order was placed. I try contacting RacerWheel via Email and get no response. I call on the 5th asking if my order had left yet. No answer. So i contact PayPal and they freeze the money. Dont you know i get a phone call the next day from RacerWheel. Jack was asking where his money was. I informed him that its not good business practice to not inform the buyer where his/her items are. So i get a return call hours later and have a FedEx tracking number! The tails arrive today and sure enough, they are the Sonars that have the chrome inserts, not the solid black face.

After spending the entire evening on the phone with RacerWheel ( vendor ) the supplier/shipper and PayPal i now have to send them back to Racerwheel, and hope that he refunds my money. If not i have to get my credit card involved and go that route. Hopefully when RacerWheel gets these tails back he will do the right thing.

Keep in mind, that RacerWheels items listed are out dated, and probably not what you paid for. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

Ya know what Stu ... it could be worse. I dont mind taking some heat, as long as i can prevent someone else from getting screwed its worth it.

BTW ... you dont know where i can get a set of the black faced LED tails, would you?

So now i have since sent the package back via FedEx refusal and Jack didnt want to sign for it. Until late yesterday it is sitting in limbo in Whittier CA. I did manage to get an address from the supplier and now i sit and wait to see if it goes through in the next few days.

 

So here it is over a week later and yes the supplier did take the tails back. But now im fighting to get the $195 back .. cause now its a he said she said as to who im supposed to get the money back from. Jack has until this afternoon to return my money or im going to report credit card theft to Mastercard. Stay tuned.
