Yes I have contacted him.

"never did i say that things were 100% percent i said kit was custom, as with custom kits come custom fabrications, i told ur if u want the boost gauge and filter id send u them, the manifold i had welded, if u want ill send u the money for u to have it welded, as well as the downpipe, but i am not going to issue you a refund. like i said u can try disputing it with paypal but let me warn you, you are not going to win, i sent u everything u bought"

here is his very pathetic response....

damn man, that's low. That sucker didn't mention anything cuz he knew people wouldn't bite. Worst case scenario, get some money from him and fix the mani or buy a used one. Chris (crush) is getting an equal lenght mani soon, ask him if he's going to sell his. The down pipe might be easier to make a new one. Just use the flange from the one u have and get a bung for the O2 sensor. Heck just call dezod and he might be able to get u a good deal for just the down pipe. That's all u need man.

I know this things can be frustrating, but sometimes u just have to learn from it and deal with the cards u have in ur hands.

I am not getting in this with you. Its as simple as that. I tried to be civil, I do not want a partial refund. As you can see, many others are disgusted as well. You should have mentioned these patches and taken pics. You have not had them on your car with the patches, how do you know they won't do damage or fail? You don't. Just refund me and its over....

still seems like a sneaky move to me. Why wouldn't you mention it in the FS thread? There is no reason other than that you didn't want people to see the nasty welds

Good Luck
