Default BEWARE: USER NAME STOCK IS A SCAMMER

we made a deal on a twm short shifter. i tried paypaling him but something was wrong with his paypal. so he said if i overnight him a check for the amount he would overnight me the part as soon as he got the check. i said i would do it but post date the check 2 days so it could be cashed once the part was shipped. i payed 15 dollars to over night a damn $90 check last tuesday and still have not recieved a correct tracking number or part. he said he shipped it thursday night after the check had cleared. so it should have got here monday at the very latest. i sent him pms asking for the correct tracking number this weekend and he said he would send it when he got home from work and he never did. the check didnt go through my moms bank till last night and i was going to stop payment this morning but it was too late. so i payed 105 dollars for a $110ish shifter that i never got!! please beware when dealing with him. i shouldve been more careful. this is the first time ive bought something off an individual from the internet and unfortunatly it will be the last. my uncle is a lawyer in philidelfia near where he lives and will be contacting him this week. any one else have any other suggestions?

NEVER NEVER send checks... Paypal or nothing... That's the best solution for protection against punk scammers... you can always get your money back if they don't ship.

ya i was a little weary but i gave it a shot. shot in my own face that is. i hear about paypal scams all the time now too. ive done 2 in person transactions from deals made on the internet and thats the only way ill do it now. once was when i sold my stock wheels, i actually drove them out to cali the next day for the guy. luckily he had cash in hand and no problems. and the other was when i bought my trd exhaust off a local. both went great. too bad this one didnt. ive been wanting that shifter ever since i got my car...

have u tried calling the company to check if theres any package going to your address?

sending a check to somebody is like giving them cash on hand. paypal or nothing as said above.

You have his full name though, and phone number, correct? I'd hassle the heck out of him for sure...

Yep, his name probably shows what he does. Scamming people into keeping their cars stock.
