They are the same. I was at a car show where someone purchased form modcity and someone purchased from ebay. Both have foggin issues and both have THE SAME numbers on the lens. But yes they do shine a slightyl different color. But that could be due to different bulbs. Thats an easy change.

Misrepresentation on something obvious throws doubt to ethics.

Amanda, care to take a close-up picture of the numbers on the bottom of yours? This picture you posted is high enough quality to be able to read them to compare.

Ebay ones and the projectors we sold are similiar but not the same, the brightness is different and we also give LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!

As you can see Amanda, im willing to come to an agreement as i have so many times, and take care of this situation and send out another pair. Look at the positive feedback up above from all the other memebers. It seems like im doing the right thing here for my customers, thats why im receiving positive reviews. I tried to help you out several times offering a free replacement, but you insisted no. What more can I do for you?

If its true lifetime warranty, ya cant beat that. By reading her deal it sounds like she wants you to send her a set, so she can have the place/shop/whatever uninstall old and reinstal new so she doesnt have to pay for uninstall of bad ones, install stock. Uninstall stock, install new.
She already payed installation, she shouldnt really have to pay to do it again because she was sent a bad set.

But this isnt my ordeal, so I will stay out of it from here.

Hmm... even the wiring and everything looks the same but I guess the only way to find out is to take a up close pictures of the lights from themodcity and comparing it to the ebay ones.

there you go, Dan is willing to do that for you, not many dealers would do that, it is very risky and will only hurt Dan, so a thank you is in order. This makes me want to buy something from him even more, but I am broke, o well

BUMP FOR DAN!!

Default neon factory defect... help please...

i participated to the neon lights group buy that ModCity did... i was impressed with the price and the picture quality of it the was shown in the post... so i purcahsed one... daniel was a good man all throughout the GB time span... i hope he'll still be.... lately i was too busy on school and work so i didn't have time to install it yet... last friday was my only chance, so i did... i installed one of the lights on the passenger side and thought about trying everyone first... so i tried all the lights and this other long tube for the driver's side is making this weird buzzy sound... so i turned in on again and it lit up but still making that noise... i let i stay for a few seconds and it shut off... i guess it was busted from the begining... factory defect probably... i hope that modcity/ daniel could do something about this... like send me one of the missing tube... that's all i need... thanks... daniel your a good person i know it's not your fault but you guys back up the products that you sell, i hope you could do something about it... here's some pics...

about the projectors... having a different color lens doesnt prove anything about being ebay/non-ebay. Most vendors offer a choice whether you want the blue lens or clear lens. Even on ebay, some of the vendors state chrome/clear, black/blue to differentiate between the color housing and lens that is for sale...
