COMMUNICATE next time about backorders instead of leaving me hanging for two weeks

i feel your pain there but believe me james and his crew are top notch. remember they are still moving into a new building and that does take time. try contacting them on the net if not just stay patient.

I know he has been swamped with PM's and msgs on Aol with the short throw shifter. He get's well over 100 messages a day, most of it form people who have no sense of patience and asking things like "when will me short throw shifter get here???", even though james has posted updates on the SL forums. THat's not directed at you in any way, its directed at the people who swamp james with questions, which inhibits him from doing his job.

I don't work for james, I'm not apologizing for him or making excuses for him. I'm just trying to give you a little heads up that he is literally swamped by 100's of people on SL asking him the same questions, that he has posted elsewhere. I'm sure he is being driven nuts by all of this.

You do seem like you have a legitimate complaint. No promises that this will work, but I will see if I can get a hold of James, and ask him to contact you.

I ve talked to him and it is their bad for not communicating to their customers. I mean its not like I called him the next day after ordering. Its been two weeks. Anyway I spoke to him and he answered my question but he should communicate a little better next time because two weeks is unreasonable and he should of sent an email about the backorder. how else should I know

yeah, I don't see that as bashing....he has a legitimate complaint. I'm not trying to say the fault was anyplace else, just that I can see James being very overwhlemed:

Moving into a new store, county is putting up lots of redtape (that info posted on CC short throw shifter thread), 100 IM's/PM's a day from people who don;t read threads about when their shifters will be ready, keeping track of inventory coming in and going out.....somewhere in between there he has to sleep, and eat. They aren't perfect over there, so somethings are going to get lost in the hubub.

Hopefully James corrected the slipup for up.

Just saw this post... Shows I can't get on the boards that often as much as I used to... Trying to change that.

Since no information has been conveyed in this thread to what INTAKE was ordered... I am going to assume its the Injen. We have been lead on from Injen since their intake was released. The day it was released, we ordered 50 intakes... 40 polished and 10 black. They told us we would have them on June 15th, 2005. Now they are telling us they will be shipping to US on June 15th. So if you would like to cancel, I totally understand. In our process of trying to stock more product than any other distributor, the manufacturers can meet our demand. We stock over 30k in Scion tC products and are trying very hard to get more instock.

If you need more info, feel free to PM me your number and I will call you back.

FYI: Our business hours are 10am - 4pm EST... We have logs of all calls and show still alot of people call after 4pm EST. I hope we are not missing you. In regards to the e-mails, please let me know your address so I can confirm they have been answered.

Thanks to toastbox for his comments till we got to the thread.
