fastscions.com service sucks
I bought a set of HAYAME Carbon Fiber Pedals from their Sponsored Sale post. I received them and the pedals are too damn big. I emailed the company this:
To whom it may concern –
I recently ordered (order XXXX) and received a set of carbon fiber pedals that were made by Hayame. The pedals are nice to look at but the fitment is just impossible on my xB. The pedals are way too big to put on the car. The brake pedal is a least 1.5” too wide and the gas pedal is 1.5” too long. The dead pedal doesn’t work because it doesn’t cover up the whole pedal.
What are the chances of returning these? I don’t have a use for them since they are too big to install in my Scion.
Thanks,
This is what they reply back to me:
Im sorry to hear that. We have not had any complaints from other customers, as we have sold quite a few of these.
However, it is our policy that all sales are final.
And the fact that this you paid $25 shipped for this, its not like you took a major hit.
Try to fit it onto another car, or sell it on ebay and get some money back for it.
I know I only spent $25 for them but hell, but god damn, a little better service would be good. This will be the last time I will be spending any more money there.
I ended up dremeling a good inch of the height of the gas pedal and an inch off the gas pedal. I had to redrill the holes and finally I got them to work. I don't expect to mod things that are advertise to fit on a specific car. I have a random Carbon fiber dead pedal laying around if anyone wants it. The stupid thing doesn't fit. It won't cover up the stock rubber/plastic thing. If I put it on, it looks ugly...I can take pics if anyone wants to see.

Hmmmmmmm that is very strange. Maybe this is under new (bad) management. I exchanged an Polished Stainless Engine Shroud for my progress rear sway bar no problems since.
They are both the same price so maybe that's why.
