After buying and selling on eBay since 2000, I might've finnally gotten ripped off for the first time.

Item paid for with paypal on April 1 and haven't received anything. I was patient for so long but today I decided to e-mail him today and then seen the latest feedback for him and find out that he is no longer a registered user. I have had trust in eBay for so long and have never been ripped off (have had pretty lousy sellers with slow shipping, terrible communication, or those that like to overcharge shipping to hawaii but thats a whole different story).

I will probably wait a couple days for a response, but if nothing, I think i shall report.

 

:X damn. i've been with ebay since 2001 and i got ripped off once. luckly i paided with paypal and filed a disput. then he finally sent the item. good luck with that, sorry to hear. i just clicked on that link.. damn ..

i would say, report now ... dont wait any longer. the longer the wait, the longer it'll take for ebay/paypal to respond. besides, i bet the other 11 or wutever people are thinking the same.

i have never been technically been ripped off, i had some guy never ship an item, i thought that he had scammed me, but what happened was he got arrested and was in jail for like a month......
by then i had purchased a similar item, the guy refunded my money which was cool.

anyways i hope it was not alot of money.

 

yea, im happy it was a pretty small purchase, $16. Since there is so much recent negative feedback against him I think I will go ahead and file since I am not the only one.

 

yeah, i wonder what his deal was.......looks like he was doing ok up until a few weeks ago. i would file, paypal only allows 30 days to file.....not sure on ebay.

 

i hope paypal is still good, i paid on 4/1 and just reported a couple hours ago. ebay said their limit is 60 days so hopefully one of them will be able to do something

 

That's really wierd because he has a pretty good record up until the past few weeks. Must've hit some bad times in his life.

 

yea, he had a great feeback until the last 11 negatives which are his only negeative feedbacks. i try to be careful and only buy things from sellers with good feedback, but man this was pretty unexpected. ill update when i ebay/paypal gets back to me.
